We are an organisation instrumental in community development. Our aim is to improve the quality of life in Creggs village by promoting community spirit, local heritage, amenity and infrastructure and to help Creggs to continue to be an attractive place to live, work and visit
Our activities and projects include:
Leading the creation of the Creggs Village Plan, a non-statutory blueprint drawn up with the community to identify improvements and projects (heritage, design, infrastructure) for the coming decades
Improving walking infrastructure, sporting facilities (both GAA and Rugby) including development of pitches, amenities and a walkway around the rugby grounds
Bringing high speed fibre broadband to the village
Working on establishing a remote working hub in the CS Parnell Heritage Centre
Organising cultural and heritage projects such a a heritage quilting project to celebrate Creggs history
We have also been active in environmental and biodiversity efforts and we are delighted to have won the All-Ireland Pride of Place award in the Biodiversity & Climate Change category
