Scarecrow Competition

Be Creative! Your scarecrow can be traditional, spooky, scary or fun!

Drop off your scarecrow to the Heritage Centre, Creggs, for display in the village until Sunday 2nd November.

Winners will be announced on Monday 27th October 2025

Rules and Regulations

1. This competition is open to anyone who wishes to create a scarecrow depicting any character, be it traditional, spooky, scary or fun!

2. DUE DATE: 19th October 2025 - no submissions will be accepted after this date

3. Consider the weather, use material that will withstand rain/wind. Some straw/hay must be used and be visible

4. The public will vote for their favourite scarecrow on the festival facebook page/Instagram page and in O'Roarkes shop

5. Each entry must be accompanied by a registration form and fee (available from the Heritage Centre, Creggs NS, O'Roarkes Shop and from committee members

VOTING WILL TAKE PLACE FROM MONDAY 20TH TO 27TH NOVEMBER 2025
